Dad Hero Community

The Dad Hero Community is a collaboration between My People Community Services, the Town of East Hartford and the Department of Families and Children created to emphasize the importance of fathers in the lives of their children.  Each year, the Dad Hero Community Day is filled with activities, vendors, fun, games and entertainment.  Fathers are honored for being the first hero to their child has in their lives and organizations are able to share information about their services and supports for fathers and the entire family. Join us on the second Saturday in September every year on the East Hartford Green.
