The rise in urban violence, compounded by structural, institutional, and personal racism alongside the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, is uniquely traumatizing African American and Latino children, youth, and adolescents. To address this, DCF is collaborating with eight community organizations to establish Urban Trauma Collective Care Centers.
