Supportive Housing for Young Adults
Ages 18–26 | Hartford, CT
We provide safe, structured housing with wraparound support to help young adults transition into independent, stable living. Through case management, goal setting, and skill-building, our housing programs support long-term success, not just crisis survival.

Note: Referrals are made through the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).

Life After High School (LAHS)
Helping Youth Navigate the Transition to Adulthood
Our LAHS division equips young people with the tools, mentoring, and confidence to thrive after high school, whether they’re pursuing college, career, or independent living.
Key Programs:
REAL Rising Up Mentoring
Personalized mentoring for youth, focused on decision-making, goal setting, and navigating real-life challenges with trusted adult support.

A structured experience that prepares youth for life after high school through workshops, coaching, and hands-on skill development.

The Manhood Tree
Empowering Men and Fathers to Heal, Lead, and Grow
The Manhood Tree is a nationally recognized initiative that creates intentional spaces for men to explore identity, emotional health, fatherhood, and leadership, all through a culturally responsive lens.
Whether you’re a young man finding your path, a father looking for connection, or a leader seeking growth, The Manhood Tree offers a space to reflect, connect, and rise.

The FutureYOUth Initiative (FYI) is a statewide youth insight and engagement ecosystem designed to elevate youth voice, strengthen emotional wellness, and support readiness during critical transitions. While FYI is not a direct program of My People Community Services, it is supported through fiscal sponsorship. FYI aligns with My People’s commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice by helping communities and systems better understand and respond to the lived experiences of young people
